Mrs Mary Woodall Dobbs, 84, of Barnesville, widow of Col. E.O. Dobbs, died last week at her residence after an extended illness.

Mrs Dobbs was born in Pike County, daughter of the Late Daniel James Woodall and the late, Jennie Blackmon White Woodall. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and a member of the Daughters of American Revolution and the United Daughters of the Confederacy.

She is survived by two stepdaughters, Mrs. Maude Olive Daniel of Barnesville and Mrs. Louise Morrow of El Paso, Tex., a step son, Hal B. Dobbs of Owensboro KY, two sisters, Mrs. Jennie Woodall Sims of Barnesville and Mrs Sara Woodall Timberlake of Jackson, Tenn, a sister-in-law, Mrs Minnie Holmes Woodall of Zebulon; 12 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

The funeral was conducted Saturday afternoon, January 29, 1977 at 3 o'clock in Haisten's Chapel in Barnesville, The Rev. Max Wall officiated. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery.

Haisten Funeral Home was in charge of plans.
