--------------
Charles F. Chilton is on his headstone but
Charles Thomas Chilton is referenced in many sources. Charles T. Chilton is referenced in the census and in the will of John Ransdell (father in law) multiple times because he was a sworn witness in court to this will.
I am not sure why he moved to Tippecanoe county in Indiana?
It's unknown if Jane Ransdall Vories was his wife or not, that's linked, but she is the closest thing I've seen to being accurate. Except for her date of birth is off 5 years. Should be 1811. Also her name wouldn't have been spelled like Ransdall. I KNOW it would have been Ransdell. The Ransdell's and Chilton's came from Virginia together to the Chilton farm in Kentucky and multiple Ransdell's are in Chilton Cemetery #1.
I believe her name to be Martha Susan "Jane" Ransdell, somebody I've seen in references. She was born in 1811 and I do not know on the death date, yet
