Graveside service for Mary Arvezean Bequette of Tucson, Ariz., will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Dongola Friendship Cemetery in Advance, Mo. The Rev. Billy Anders will officiate.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday.

Bequette, 80, died Monday, Nov. 18, 2002, at Carondelet Hospice in Tucson.

She was born July 6, 1922, at Dongola, Mo., daughter of Willard and Cora Bess Adams.

Bequette received a degree in licensed practical nursing from Pima Community College in Tucson. She had worked at Kino Community Hospital in Tucson and also did private duty nursing. She was a member of Tucson Baptist Temple, DAR, and Internal Order of Foresters.

Survivors include a son, Jeffrey Bequette of Tucson; two daughters, Becky Jaco of Scottsdale, Ariz., Linda Harker of Tucson; two brothers, David Adams of Seattle, Wash., Jerry Adams of Las Vegas, Nev.; three sisters, Ruth Ladd of Chaffee, Mo., Waneta Cooper of Cape Girardeau, Wanda Findlow of Granite City, Ill.; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by five sisters.
