HARRISBURG - Mrs. Effie E. Campbell, 84, of 2121 Green St., Harrisburg, formerly of Juniata County, died Wednesday in the Polyclinic Medical Center, Harrisburg.

Born March 11, 1891, in Black Log Valley, Huntingdon County, she was the daughter of the late William and Ida Phene Hartman. She was preceded in death by her husband, Orrin M. Campbell.

Surviving are five sons, William O. Campbell, Halifax, Elmer R. Campbell, Harrisburg, Gilbert Campbell, Norristown, Norman Campbell, Waterford, Conn., and Harold Campbell, Shermansdale; three daughters, Mrs. Hulda Chronister, Harrisburg, Mrs. Stella Brocious, Wellsboro, and Mrs. Elsie Coble of Middletown; 34 grandchildren and numerous great and great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Henry Funeral Home, Honey Grove, with the Rev. William D. Jones officiating. Burial will be in the McCullochs Mills Cemetery. Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home.
