Born in Berlin on Feb. 5, 1920, Beatrice was the daughter of Herman and Marie (Erickson) Edberg. She was raised in Berlin, graduating from Berlin High School. Later she lived in Hooksett for about 12 years before moving to Pembroke in 1957.
Mrs. Bailey had been a teller for the Suncook Bank and was a member of the Suncook United Methodist Church and the Eastern Star.
Beatrice was the widow of Fred Carter who died in 1959 and Benjamin Bailey who died in 1995. She was also predeceased by her son, Fred Carter, Jr. in 1997.
