Sandra Ellen Shoemaker, 50, of Hermann, passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2011 at her home. Mrs. Shoemaker was born in Mexico, Mo., on October 12, 1961, the daughter of Leroy and Bernice (Schoening) Krull. She was the wife of Larry Shoemaker. They were married November 3, 1979 at Swiss. He survives in Hermann. Sandy is also survived by her mother, Bernice Krull of Hermann; a son, Nathaniel Shoemaker and wife, Diane, of Hermann; a daughter, Tara Allcorn and husband, Dax, of Columbia; and a son, Tyrell Shoemaker and wife, Rachel, of Chicago, Ill.; a brother Tim Krull and wife, Paula, of Swiss; a sister, Carol Williams of Bland; a sister, Donna Schneider and husband, Jim, of Swiss; and three grandchildren, Stella and Elsa Allcorn and Kaylah Shoemaker. She was preceded in death by her father and a sister, LeAnn Anderson. She was a member of Emmanuel Evangelical Free Church, where she was the past treasurer and also cleaned for the church. She worked as an assistant for the Gasconade County Public Administrators office. She loved to cook, sew, garden, bible study and spending time with her grandchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home in Hermann. Funeral services will be held at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann, at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 27, with Rev. Tom Rea officiating. Burial will be at Oak Haven Memorial Gardens near Hermann.
