Ella Preval was the daughter of Thaddeus and Mary Vianna or Vina Preval of Augusta, GA.
On April 2, 1874, Ella E. Preval married Thomas Valentine Rhodes in Augusta, Richmond County, GA (Richmond County Marriage Book, 1868-1875, p. 232). They had several children: Ella, Charles C. and Albert M. Rhodes.
On March 29, 1882, Mrs. Rhodes died of a pelvic abscess. She was buried on March 30, 1882 in Magnolia Cemetery.
