Elizabeth H. "Betty" (Simko) Julock, 83, formerly of Dixonville, PA, passed away on Tuesday, October 25, 2011, at ElderWood Health Care Center at Crestwood in Wheatfield, NY. Born in Indiana, PA, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Anna (Tvardzik) Simko.
Betty attended schools and was employed as a caseworker at the Social Security office in Indiana, PA. She was a member of the National Slovak Society and in her leisure she enjoyed crocheting. She moved to the Niagara Falls area in 2006.
She is survived by a sister, Margaret (late Frank) Smith of Niagara Falls, NY; a niece, Nancy (Bryan) Pappal McKinley of Geneseo, NY; a nephew, Andrew (Belinda) Pappal of Niagara Falls, NY; as well as several other nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, Betty was predeceased by her husband, Pete Julock; five sisters, Mary (late Mike) Machik, Helen (late Leo) Cieslo, Sue (late Art) Koberstein, Anne Simko, Katherine (George of Niagara Falls, NY) Pappal; and two brothers, John (late Josephine) Simko and Andy Simko.
