Orice Barron
PURVIS - Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Oak Hill United Pentecostal Church in Poplarville for Orice Glenn Barron, 81, of Purvis, who died March 9, 2007, at Oxford Health and Rehabilitation Center in Purvis.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Barron was retired from the offshore oil industry and attended College Heights Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mitchell and Dora Amacker Barron.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann Barron of Poplarville; three sons, David Glenn Barron of Brandon, and Gary Barron and Kenneth Barron, both of Hattiesburg; three daughters, Glenda Dubose of Lumberton, Rebecca Dyar of Purvis and Twila White of Hattiesburg; two stepsons, Stanley Hodge of Wiggins and Stephen Hodge of Poplarville; three stepdaughters, Sharon Beall of Poplarville, and Brenda Snowden and Tammy Bullen, both of Bogalusa, La.; two brothers, Don Barron of Pasadena, Texas, and Harold Barron of Bonham, Texas; two sisters, Nelda Saucier and Ima Reid, both of Poplarville; 26 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. today at the church.
White Funeral Home in Poplarville is in charge of arrangements.
