W. T. Boyd, Jr. was a bookkeeper for the Foster Hardware Company in Little Rock, Arkansas at the time of his death of ptomaine poisoning. He had only lived in Little Rock for three months prior to death having come from Jonesboro, Arkansas where he was employed in the bookkeeping department of R. H. Meyer & Co. W.T. Boyd, Jr. was a member of the Mt. Zion Lodge No. 51, I.O.O.F. of Jonesboro.
