Amy Susanna Hopkins, 23, Shawnee, Kan., passed away into the loving arms of our Lord on Saturday, October 22, 2011, from a car accident. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 27, at the Lenexa Baptist Church, 15320 W. 87th St., Lenexa, KS 66219. Funeral Services will be 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 28, at the Lenexa Baptist Church followed by burial at Dearborn Community Cemetery, Dearborn, Mo. Amy was born March 11, 1988, in Kansas City, Kan. She attended Shawnee Mission North High School where she was active in cheerleading and gymnastics. Amy had a true gift for sewing and doing upholstery. She was currently attending K-State University and working towards a degree in Bio-Chemistry. She was set to graduate in May of 2012. She is survived by her parents, Don and Cindy Hopkins, two brothers, Stephen and Weston, two sisters, Ashley and Michelle.
