Centenarian, Edna M. Leach, 100, formerly of Petersburg, NE passed away Monday, October 24, 2011 at the Wolf Memorial Good Samaritan Center in Albion.
Edna, daughter of George and Caroline (Scheel) Brockman was born November 6, 1910 at Treynor, IA.
Edna moved to Loretto, NE with her family, attended grade school at Boone County District #72 near Loretto, and graduated from the eighth grade in 1927.
On March 28, 1932, Edna was united in marriage with Vernon E. Leach. The couple lived in Loretto, Bartlett, Council Bluffs, IA and settled in Petersburg, NE.
Edna was a homemaker and caretaker for their son, Vernon L. "Bud" Leach.
Edna was preceded in death by her parents; husband Vernon in 1968; son Bud Leach in 2006 and several brothers and sisters.
Edna is survived by: sister Ruby of Council Bluffs, IA. and a host of relatives and friends.
