Barbara H. Miller, 79 ,of Oakland City, passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at Gibson General Hospital.
Born Jan. 6,1932 in Mt Olympus, she was the daughter of Ernest Burkhart and Margaret Campbell
She worked at Kittner Studio, Potter & Brumfield in Princeton and Broshears Real Estate in Oakland City. She attended Oakland City Church of The Nazarene.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Charles Miller; son, Steve (Linda) Miller of Oakland City; daughter, Paula (Jim) Key of Patoka; grandchildren, Colt (Jaime) Miller of Bloomington, Cohn and Cody Miller of Oakland City, Kara (Andrew) Kunkel, Aaron, Jamie, Corrianna Key of Princeton; great-grandchildren, Logan, Luke and Landon Kunkel; nephew, Gary Burkhart; and niece, Kathy O'Reilly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Donald Burkhart; half brothers, Wayne, Thomas and Dave Burkhart.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Oakland City Church Of The Nazarene with the Rev. Darin D. Nossett officiating. Final resting place will be in Mt. Olive Cemetery at Mt. Olympus.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday at the Church and from and 8 a.m. until the service hour on Saturday at the Church. Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel is handling arrangements
