Sharon, 66, 132 W. Ruth St., Sidney, died at 5:19 p.m., at Miami Valley Hospital.

She was a daughter to William and Katharine (Heine) McCain. On Dec 29, 1976, she married Charles Waldsmith, who survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, Kendra (Robert) Smith, Sidney, and Amanda Krouskop, Cuyohoga Falls, OH, two stepsons, Paul (Patty), Ft. Thomas, KY, and Leon (Betsy), Piqua; two stepdaughters, Kate (Carlos) Scarpero, Dayton, and Karen (Dan) Cole, Parma Heights; two sisters, Delores Rauch and Barbara Eyler, both Dayton; and four grandchildren, Morgan Smith, Aidan Smith, Ellie Waldsmith, and David Scarpero.

She was a member of Sidney First United Methodist Church and a member of Pleiades Chapter #298 Order of the Eastern Star of which she served as a Worthy Matron. She liked flower gardening and scrap booking. She was the treasurer for the Shelby County Educational Service Center and retired in 2002 after 30 years of service. She also worked for the Francis Furniture Store as a bookkeper.
