The Oklahoman, Oct 5, 1955: Lovic P. Shoup, 71, retired sheet metal worker, of 2537 SW 27, died Wednesday from a heart condition in Mercy Hospital. Rites will be 2 pm Saturday in Capitol Hill Funeral Home with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. Shoup was born in Texas and came to Oklahoma City 14 years ago from Fannin Co, TX. Prior to his retirement, he was employed by the Star Manufacturing Co here. A member of Central Avenue Baptist Church, he is survived by his wife, Maude, of the home; four daughters, and three sons.
