She was the daughter of Jacob and Laura C. Gouge. She was born on the old Gouge homestead.
She is survived by her husband Roger S. Moore, her aged mother, Mrs. Laura C. Gouge, who since the death of Mr. Gouge in 1883 has resided with Mrs. Moore, one brother, Frederick Gouge and four children, Mrs. Thomas G. Maurice, Mrs. Evan H. Pugh, George G. Moore, Ruth Grinnell Moore; also five grand chilldren, Clifford, Catherine and Adeline Maurice, Maria Sherman Moore and Laura Pugh, all of Trenton.
