Found in The State 22 May 1965: Mrs. H. H. (Ethelene) Eleazer, 61, of 1217 Union St., died Friday night at Columbia Hospital after an illness of a month. She was born in Ballentine, daughter of the late J. D. Wise and Lenora Ballentine. She was a housewife and a member of Salem Methodist Church and the Women's Society of Christian Service. Surviving are one son, Herman J. Eleazer of Columbia; one sister, Mrs. B. A. Keith of Columbia; three brothers, E. B. of Chapin and James F. and Arthur Hugh Wise of Ballentine; one grandson, Tommy Eleazer, and one granddaughter, Julie Ann Eleazer of Columbia. Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Sunday at Salem Methodist Church conducted by the Rev. Ted W. Brazil. Interment will be in the churchyard.
