SPARTANBURG, S.C. --Lois ALTEMEYER, 79, of Fountain Inn, S.C., formerly of Salem, died Wednesday at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center Spartanburg, S.C.
Born in Salem, IN she was the daughter of Oliver Merritt and Alice M. (LUSE) SALLEE. She married Ross ALTEMEYER, and he preceded her in death.
She was a retired employee of Bantam Chef Restaruant and a member of First Christian Church in Salem.
Surviving are one son; Jerry Lee ALTEMEYER of Gray Court, S.C.; three daughters; Barbara LANE and Marilyn MOLITOR, both of Fountain Inn, S.C., and Margaret WAYMIRE of Mesa, Ariz.; nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Weathers Funeral Home in Salem. Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. until time of service Sunday at the funeral home..
