A. L. Sellers, who about three weeks ago suffered a paralytic stroke, passed away this morning about 5 o'clock at the family home on East Broadway. For a time following the attack Mr. Sellers seemed to be recovering but for the past few days he had been in an extremely critical condition and the end was not unexpected.
Mr. Sellers, who was an engineer by trade, had been a resident of this city for the pat twenty years, and for several years past had been employed as engineer with the Merritt-Schwier Creamery Co. He was a man well known throughout the community and one who was held in the very highest esteem by all his acquaintances.
Six children, besides other relatives are left to mourn his loss, and the death is particularly sad from the fact that the wife and mother passed away less than one year ago. The children are Mrs. Don Jordan, of Little River, Mrs. Clarence Quigley of west of town, Gabe Sellers, who is one of the instructors in engineering at the State Agricultural College at Manhattan, and Mary, Lester, Dorothy and Joe, all of whom are at home.
Funeral services will be held at the home tomorrow, Tuesday, afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. The Masonic lodge, of which the deceased had long been a member, will have charge of the services at the cemetery.
