Captured in action, August 25, 1864, at Ream's Station, Va.; paroled, no date recorded. Mustered out, June 12, 1865, at Elmira, N.Y.

In 1847 the family moved to Yates County, New York.

1877 Came to Micigan.
Mr Beedon made a good presiding officer.
He is also an active member of Gregg Post GAR and in 1884 was one of the speakers an Decoration Day.

Mr Beedon farmed it until two years ago, when he began baling and shipping straw, which business he now carries on an extensive scale. The Firm, Beedon and Aldrich, employ a number of men.
