Son of George Alton Reedy and Elizabeth Garrison. Married Ida Mae Dillard Reedy, widow of his brother Reuben Claibe Reedy, in 1946.

He was a World War I veteran and a carpenter, 71 years old, married, and a resident of Mineral Wells, Texas. Informant was J. A. Reedy; burial was December 27, 1968. Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home, Mineral Wells, Texas, was in charge of arrangements.
