PLEASANT GROVE--Mrs. Elizabeth M. Hall, 79, died in her home here Saturday at 1:15 p.m. of causes incident to age.
Mrs. Hall was born December 29, 1871, in Cedar Fort, Utah County, a daughter of Nelson and Sarah J. Sanders Merkley. She moved with her parents to Vernal when she was eight years old and was educated there. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
She was married to Henry C. Hall December 24, 1893, in Vernal and they were later remarried in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They moved to Wellington, Carbon County, in 1931, and came to Pleasant Grove in 1937.
Survivors include seven sons and daughters, Henry Grant Hall, Albion Nelson Hall and Mrs. Sarah M. Bentley, all of Pleasant Grove; James Arthur Hall, Midvale; Wallace Edgar Hall, Compton, California; Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Waddell, Sacramento, California; Mrs. Helen Ainge, Provo; a brother, Henry Merkley, Jensen, Uintah County; 22 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Pleasant Grove Second LDS Ward Chapel by E. M. William, Bishop. Burial will be in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call at the family home, 240 W 3rd North. Tuesday evening and Wednesday prior to services.
