Mrs. Daisy Lee Johnson Culler, 84, of 164 Second St., Ellerbe, died Nov. 26, 2009 in Rockingham Manor. Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Monday in the Ellerbe City Cemetery with Rev. Tim Hawks officiating. A lifelong resident of Richmond County, Daisy was born to the late Harrison and Maude Hicks Johnson on Dec. 10, 1924. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gurney Culler; two daughters, Geraldine Lassiter and Patricia Culler; three brothers, Woodrow, Joe and Jack Johnson; and three sisters, Gracie Turney, Lou Izey Nelson and Clara Belle Holt. She is survived by a granddaughter, Gwendolyn Jones of Ellerbe. The family will receive friends immediately following the service and at other times at the home of her granddaughter, Gwendolyn Jones, 164 Second St., Ellerbe. Russell-Marks Funeral Home is assisting the family.
