Services for MABRY A. TANSIL of Greenfield, Tennessee, former Memphis service station operator, will be held at 2 p.m. this afternoon at the Greenfield Church of Christ. The Rev. Fred W. Chunn, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Moseley Cemetery near Greenfield with Greenfield Undertaking Company in charge. Mr. Tansil died at 5 a.m. yesterday morning at Kennedy Veterans Hospital after an illness of several years. He was 59.
Mr. Tansil was an Army sergeant in World War I, with 18 months' duty in France. Born in Sharon, Tennessee, he moved to Memphis twenty years ago. After operating several Gulf Service stations for ten years in Memphis, he moved to Greenfield, Tennessee. He was a member of the American Legion and of the Greenfield Church of Christ.
