The former Ardell June Wegner wa born June 26, 1935, in Oconomowoc, daughter of Franklin H. and Malinda (Wittnebel) Wegner. She married Kenneth I. Pfeifer Feb. 20, 1955. She had been employed at Schweiger's in Jefferson for 25 years and was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Farmington. She was an avid golfer and local sports fan. She enjoyed family card parties and loved spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving are her husband, Kenneth of Johnson Creek; a daughter, Cynthia (James) Braunschweig of Johnson Creek; two sons, Steven of Johnson Creek and Scott (Becky) of Beaver Dam; seven grandchildren, Justin and Michael Pfeifer, Lyndsi, Lyssa and Joshua Braunschweig, Cody and Allison Pfeifer; her mother, Malinda Wegner of Oconomowoc; five sisters Erline Wegner of Oconomowoc, Mildred (Roger) Kopfer of Ashippun, Dioanne (John) Wagner of Jefferson, Caroline (Raymond) Weimer of Chandler, Ariz., and Darlene Wegner of Brown Deer; three brothers Hubert (Evelyn) Bergman of Ixonia, Milton (Marilyn) Wegner of Oconomowoc, and Franklin A. (Doris) Wegner of Watertown; her mother-in-law, Nora Pfeifer of Watertown, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
