Tire Blowout Fatal to Garrett Youth

GARRETT, May 24 - A tire blowout at Hyndman, last Sunday night proved fatal to Charles Raymond Ash, son of Mr. and Mrs. Silas Ash of Garrett. He died, Tuesday, of a skull fracture, in a Cumberland hospital to which he was admitted after the accident. He was employed by the Fogle Coal Company. Besides his parents he is survived by the following brothers and sisters: James, at home; William, Waterman, Pa.; Mrs. Clark Romesberg, Mrs. George Weaver, Mrs. Leroy Emerick, Mrs. Dominic Angelo, Dorothy, at home, and a half-sister, Mrs. Harry Oslander. A brother, Eugene, was killed in a mine accident at Waterman a year ago. Funeral services will be held in the Garrett Evangelical Church, Friday at 2 p.m. Johnson and Son, Berlin morticians, have charge of the funeral and burial arrangements.
