John Goff Braddock, 84, of Germantown, TN, passed away Thursday, March 26, 2009, at Methodist Hospital-Germantown.

Mr. Braddock served in the U.S. Marines Corp during World War II and a United States Air Force Reserve.
After Retiring from the Defense Dept, he remained an avid Gardner.

He was also a Member at Grace Primitive Baptist Church in Memphis, TN.
John was foremost a Beloved Family Man.

He is survived by his Wife of 62 years, Mary Elizabeth Cox Braddock; three Sons, Benjamin Huey Braddock of Merritt Island, FL; Joel G. Braddock of Germantown, TN; John Bruce Braddock of Falkner, MS; one Daughter, Elizabeth Leigh "Lisa" Green of Ratcliff, AR; Sister, Annice Braddock Brawner of Corinth, MS; 13 Grandchildren, Melissa Owens; Virginia Gray; Abigail Braddock; Asa Green; Melanie Trimble; Matt Green; Elizabeth Griffin; Megan Roberts; Jesse Green; Mary Braddock; Meredith Braddock; Seth Green; John Green; and 13 Great Grandchildren, Aaron Green; Isra Green; Clayton Green; Virginia Jamison Gray; James Stanley Gray; Rebecca Owens; Sophie Owens; Isabelle Trimble; Allison Trimble; Dillion Roberts; Landon Roberts; and John Talen Braddock; and along with a large extended Family and countless Friends.

John will long be remembered by so many in this Community for his acts of kindness and words of encouragement.

Funeral Services will be held at 1 P.M., Saturday, March 28, 2009, at Memphis Funeral Home, Poplar Chapel.
Interment will follow at 3:30 P.M. in Falkner Cemetery in Falkner, Tippah County, MS.
Memphis Funeral Home - Poplar, was in charge of the arrangements.
