Parents were Sidney Boyd Bagget and Anna Maye Bonds. Married July 27, 1935, in Fort Cobb, Caddo County, Oklahoma to Lonnie Doris "Pete" Roach and, moved to California the same year. They had three children. She was employed at Eagle Cleaners and Caves Menswear in Tulare, as a professional Seanstress. Throughout the years, her loving hands were responsible for making majorette uniforms for both Tulare Union and Tulare Western high schools, uniforms for the Freedom Revelations Singers, costumes and homemade wedding gowns. She was actively involved in the First Church of God, helping with Sunday School, church dinners, potlucks and missionary work. She was also involved in weekly activity programs at Twin Oaks Assisted Living Center. Burial was Nov. 2, 2000.
