The funeral was Friday at Higgins Funeral Home with the Rev. Ed Johnson officiating. Burial was in Riverview Memorial Gardens.
A native of Lincoln County, he was the son of the late Clarence and Beatrice Burn Tucker and was a self-employed plumber. He was a member of the Mulberry Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Tinnie Aliese Swinford Tucker; two brothers E. A. Tucker of Fayetteville and Harold Tucker of Miami, Florida; three sisters: Mrs. Gertrude Swinford of Fayetteville, Mrs. Velma Swafford of Pine Mountain, Georgia, and Louise Bell of Hollywood, Florida; two foster grandsons, Tony Cothren of Mulberry and Pat Lawrence of Athens, Alabama.
