Mary A Higgins, 77, died Saturday in Huntsville Hospital.
The funeral was Monday at Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with the Rev. Emerson Wiles officiating. Burial in the Riverview Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Higgins was a native of Lauderdale County, Ala., daughter of the late James L. and Cornelia Adams. She was a retired teacher and worked for the Tennessee Dept. of Human Services for seveal years before her retirement and was a member of the Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband Frank Higgins; a son, Frank Higgins Jr.; a daughter Mrs. Gail Terry; a brother Jack Adams; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
