Rev. Russell B. Bohanan, a minister and farmer, was the son of Mark and Matilda Plemmons Bohanan. He married Vetia Plemmons. He died at age 68; survived by wife; sons, Tip, W.C., Milo; daughers, Mrs. Hettie Boling of Knoxville; Mrs. Cora Burden, Livermore, Kansas, Mrs. Grace King and Mrs. Lela Helton of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee; stepchildren, Earl King of Boston, Jack King of Seymour, Mrs. Claiborne England of Knoxville, Mrs. Paul England; mother; brothers, Dave, Levi, Decatur, Otha, Oscar, Lee and Walter; sisters, Mrs. Laura Roberts, Mrs. Emma Whaley, Mrs. Bessie Stoner, Mrs. Martha Gilbert and Mrs. Annie Trotter. He was a member of Sims Chapel.
