CACINI Susan Lillian (Lilledahl) Cacini, age 55, lost a courageous battle with cancer on Thursday, June 27, 2002. Susan is survived by her husband, William Cacini; three daughters, Carla Sue, Marta Lynne and Abby Louise; and her sister, Linda Lilledahl.
Born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Susan married William in 1975 and moved to Cincinnati. She received her bachelor's degree in early childhood education from the University of Cincinnati in 1978. She especially enjoyed Bearcat basketball. Susan was an extraordinary daughter, wife, mother, sister, friend and teacher. She dedicated her time and knowledge to the care and education of children.
Besides raising three exceptional daughters, she taught parenting skills, infant stimulation, and pre-school. She also worked as an administrator and consultant for the effective operation of preschool education. Susan volunteered much of her time to Walnut Hills High School.
Visitation will be held from 5:30 to 8:00 pm, the evening of Monday, July 1, and services will be held on Tuesday, July 2, at 11:00 am, in the Jon Dietloff Funeral Centre, 4389 Spring Grove Avenue, Cincinnati. Interment will follow the service in Spring Grove Cemetery. Memorials, if desired, may be made in her name to the American Cancer Society or the Alumni Foundation of Walnut Hills High School in Cincinnati.
