"Services For H.G. Alexander Held Friday"
Funeral services for Herman G. Alexander, 48, were held Friday at 230 p.m. at the Walnut Creek Baptist Church near Simsboro.
The Rev. Quarles officiated and burial under the direction of Green-Kleinegger Funeral Home, was in the church cemetery.
Mr. Alexander died Wednesday in a Ft. Worth, Texas hospital after a brief illness.
Survivors are two brothers, D.D. Alexander of Simsboro and Jeff Alexander of Vienna; five sisters, Mrs. Leona Knighton and Mrs. Effie Sparrow, both of Shreveport, Mrs. O.A. Jones of Simsboro, Mrs. Jack Kirkley of Alexandria, and Mrs. Dixie Goocher of Summerfield.
