Emma Stevens Bess
Emma Stevens Bess, age 82, passed away at her home in Parowan, Utah, on September 9, 2007, to be with her sweetheart, Rex. She was born on April 25, 1925 in Parowan to Clarence and Madge Wilcock Stevens. She grew up in Parowan and attended schools there. She married the love of her life , Rex Emmeron Bess, in Louisiana on Valentine's Day, 1944.
Emma was a seamstress and loved to sew. She loved everyone and everyone loved her. She was very appreciative of everything anyone did for her. Her favorite thing in the world was chocolate. She searched high and low for the best chocolate around. She never went to bed at night without a brownie and a glass of milk. She loved the outdoors and the cabin at Panguitch Lake. She loved animals especially her cat, Missy, and Pupper, her dog.
Emma is survived by her son Allan R. Bess of Parowan and a brother, Richard Stevens of Idaho. She also has five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren and many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her daughter, Lina Bess Robinson, and also two brothers and two sisters.
