Mrs. Ansley was a native of McDuffie county and had been a member of the Baptist church since her youth. She was first married to the late James Marks and later married the late Jerry T. Ansley. She was a person who lived a quiet life, but was loved by all who knew her. She was neighborly and friendly toward all who came in contact with her.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. W. E. Blanchard of Thomson, and Mrs. C. B. Pearson of Harlem; five sons, Watson F. Ansley of Harlem, T. Enos Ansley of Thomson, Earl C. Ansley of Thomson, E. Farris Ansley of Brooklet, Ga., and Seabron O. Ansley of Harlem; 38 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Charlie Blanchard, Milton Ansley, Franklin Ansley, Ivey Ansley, Sterling Ansley and Talmadge Ansley.
