STAUNTON – Mrs. Rena Agnor Hockman, 76, wife of W. D. Hockman, Shenandoah, died Thursday in the Rockingham Memorial Hospital where she had been a patient for five days.
She was born in Rockbridge County on May 2, 1881, a daughter of the late Joseph and Hanna Bear Falls. She spent most of her life in Rockbridge and Augusta counties and more recently resided in Shenandoah County. She was a member of the Calvary Methodist Church.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include a number of nieces and nephews. Eleven brothers and sisters preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in the Warren G. Kyger Funeral Home at Shenandoah, conducted by the Rev. L. L. Lewellyn. Interment will be at the Calvary Methodist Church Cemetery at Stuarts Draft at 4 p.m. Sunday.
