Joseph J. Angelini, 89, of 16 Great Barrington, Road, West Stockbridge, died Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield.

The last of twelve children, he was born in West Stockbridge on March 20, 1922, son of John and Angela Bondini Angelini. He attended local schools and was a 1940 graduate of the former Williams High School.

He worked for Lee Lime, retiring in 1987 after thirty-eight years of employment. Joseph was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church.

He was a member of the West Stockbridge Golden Years, and an avid Red Sox Fan. He enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family and the family dog "Suzie".

He leaves his wife of sixty-one years, the former Ann L. Hubley, whom he married on October 7, 1950 in St. Patrick's Church; two sons, Joseph of West Stockbridge, and Michael of Housatonic, four daughters, Christine Ross and her husband Steve, of Great Barrington, Linda and Gary Johnston, of Interlaken, Karen Slavinski and her husband Ed, of Hancock, and Joann Baer and her husband Chris, of Mesa, Arizona; six grandchildren, Stephanie, Jason, Kim, Ricky, Eddie, and Nathan; and five great-grandchildren, Madeline, Finn, Ava, Lohan, and Lyrin.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 25, 2011, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Patrick's Church with the Reverend C.J. Waitekus pastor, officiating.
Burial will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Monday, October 24, 2011 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the BIRCHES-ROY FUNERAL HOME.
