Conrad Claycomb, a venerable citizen who lived near Weyant, died on July 10. He was aged 92 years, ten months and four days. Funeral services were held in the St. Clairsville Reformed church Saturday afternoon, the pastor Rev. A. F. Nace, officiating. Mr. Claycomb was a farmer by occupation. He was an honest, sober, industrious man and highly respected by all who knew him.
He leaves to mourn their loss three children - Mrs. Mary A. Stambaugh and Miss Leah Claycomb of Osterburg, and Amos Claycomb of Weyant, and also a number of grandchildren. Three sons and two daughters preceded him to the great beyond. For many years he was a consistent member of the Reformed church.
