An interesting side note about Edna's burial. When Edna died, it was in the middle of winter. The cemetery people said the Zipfel plot was full, so they buried her in a Fischer plot. A "Fischer" handled all of the funeral arrangements. Later, when the snow melted, they found Edna's father's grave and discovered there was an extra gravesite there, so she was moved next to her father. The family had a headstone made and then discovered that a headstone had been made for Edna when her father died. They found it at the monument company; it had been sitting there for 50 years.
