ORZOLEK Christine Orzolek, age 89, wife of 45 years to Joseph Orzolek of Bethany, died Tuesday, September 25, 2007 at Connecticut Hospice of Branford. She was born October 12, 1917 in Ansonia, daughter of the late Esper and Catherine Khoury Hadder. She worked as a time keeper for Hershey Metal Co. in Ansonia and attended The St. Nicholas Antiochan Orthodox Church of Bridgeport. Christine was a member of The Republican Club in Bethany. In addition to her husband Joseph, she is survived by two sisters, Lillian Delaney and Thelma Wilkinson, both in Ansonia. She also leaves nieces, nephews and grandnieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three sisters, Sally Hinman, Mary Becker and Louise Kobasiar and two brothers, Joseph and Abraham Hadder. Funeral services will be held on Friday, 11 a.m. from The Jenkins-King Funeral Home, 12 Franklin Street, Ansonia. Rev. Father Romanos Malouf, Pastor of St. Nicholas Antiochan Orthodox Church, 5458 Park Ave. Bridgeport, CT 06604, officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Ansonia. Friends may call on Thursday, from 5 to 8 p.m., with Trisagion prayer services starting at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Christine's memory may be made to her church.
