Melody Jean Lake, 40, of Chesapeake, Ohio passed away Friday December 7, 2007 in Cabell Huntington Hospital. She was born May 29, 1967 in Huntington, WV, daughter of the late Lloyd and Ruth Codyene Smith Lake.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers Terry and Michael Lake.
Melody is survived by
her fiancé Scott Williamson;
two sisters Traci (Mark) Waskey of South Point, Ohio and Ruth Ortega Lake of South Point, Ohio;
two brothers Lloyd Lake of Butler, Ohio and Ike (Patty) Lake of Chesapeake, Ohio;
sister-in-law Denise Lake of South Point, Ohio;
several nieces, nephews,
her two babies Rio and Mercedes;
special friend Lee Crawford of Chesapeake,
many other friends.
Funeral service was conducted at Hall Funeral Home by Pastor Duane Smith. Burial was in Miller Memorial Gardens, Miller, Ohio.
