Andrew 'Andy' Jackson Boles, 92 of Springfield, MO and formerly of Koshkonong, died December 8, 2000 at Springfield, MO. He was born November 13, 1908 at Koshkonong, the son of John Anderson and Dora Anne Mitchell Boles.
On February 3, 1932 he was married at Koshkonong to Inez E. Huddleston, who preceded him in death April 1, 1981.
Mr. Boles was a jeweler all his life until his retirement. He loved music, was a gifted musician and was accomplished on many instruments. He was member of the Barber Shop Singers in Springfield.
He had attended Second Baptist Church in Springfield.
He was a member of Koshkonong Masonic Lodge 582 AF and AM.
He was a loving father and will be sorely missed.
Survivors include four children, Loretta Beatty and husband, Don, of Virgnia Beach, VA; Peg Gouverneur and husband, Jack, of Carthage, MO; Jack Boles and wife, Glenda, of Springfield, MO; and Lynn O'Toole of Springfield, MO; seven grandchildren, Kevin Boles of Hollywood, CA; Kristin Boles of Springfield, MO; Derek Beatty of Richmond, VA; Lori Absher of Virginia Beach, VA; Kelli Stinebrook of Carthage, MO; Howie Lindeman of Dallas, TX; and Bryan Makin of Wallowa, OR; nine great-grandchildren, Amanda Martin; Nathan Absher; Andrew Stinebrook; Abbi Stinebrook; Jasmine Beatty; Ashley Beatty; Chelsea Beatty; Cheyenne Lindeman and Chase Lindeman.

Memorial services are December 11, 2000 at Carter Funeral Home Chapel in West Plains, with the Rev. James Lewis officiating. Burial will be in Koshkonong Cemetery, Koshkonong, MO under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc. of West Plains, MO.
