T.J. Webb of Grapevine, Arkansas was born February 19, 1922 in Atkins, Arkansas the son of the late Woodford Cordell and Olive Grinsted Webb. He was in the US Army having served in the WWII and Korean wars and was a member of the American Legion and DAV. He loved to hunt, fish, and watch rodeos as well as spend time with his family.
Mr. Webb died Thursday, October 20, 2011 at the VA Hospital in Little Rock at the age of 89.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Tammy Lynn.
Survivors: Wife, Peggy Holland Webb of Grapevine; Sons, Gary Webb of North Little Rock; Michael Webb of Stone Mountain, Georgia; Thomas Webb of Pennsylvania; Timothy Webb and Christopher Webb both of Grapevine; Daughters, Vicki Langley of Kingsland; Christie Webb and Caitlin Webb both of Grapevine; 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Monday, October 24, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at Grapevine Church of God in Christ. Visitation will also be at the church, Monday from 9:00 A.M. until service time. Burial will be Tuesday, October 25 at 12:00 P.M. at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock.
