Mrs. C. Austin Barrett received word of the sudden death of her nephew, Carleton Georges, Tuesday, at Norfolk, Va., where he was stationed in the service of the U.S. Navy. Mrs. Barrett and her mother, Mrs. Leigh Goodrich, who was visiting in Presque Isle, left Wednesday morning for Cheboygan, Mich., where her sister and husband, Dr. and Mrs. J. R. Georges, live and where the funeral services are to be held. Dr. and Mrs. Georges formally lived in East Millinocket.
