The service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Geiple Funeral Home Inc., 53 Main St., Glen Rock. Burial will be in Bethlehem (Steltz) Church Cemetery. Viewings will be 7 to 9 p.m. today and 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Heindel was born June 21, 1918 in Beckleysville, Md. She was the daughter of the late Charles "Dutch" and Goldia May (Rice) Stiffler.
She was employed as a machine operator in the finishing room for 10 years at Gould Inc. in Jacobus, retiring in 1980 and prior to that she had been employed as a seamstress at several local sewing factories. She was a member of the Hampton Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary.
Mrs. Heindel also is survived by four daughters, Violet M. Myers of Hanover, Janet M. Heindel of Tanneytown, Md., Barbara A. Price of Hampstead, Md., and Judy C. DeVore of York; 14 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a brother, John Stiffler of Lovelace, Colo.; and a sister, Goldia Fullenwilder of Prescott Valley, Ariz. Mrs. Heindel was preceded in death by a daughter, Norma Jean Heindel, who died in 1946.
Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Michael D. Garland, pastor of Orange Assembly of God Church, Orange, Va.
