ROBERT JACK "Bobby Jack" BLANKENSHIP, 59, of Huntington, W.Va., passed away Monday, October 17, 2011. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, October 20, 2011, at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel by Dr. David Lemming and the Rev. Aaron Karr. Burial will be in Crook Cemetery. He was born November 29, 1951, in Huntington, W.Va., a son of the late Orval "Jack" Blankenship and Arlene Burdette Blankenship. He was a retired salesman of E-One Fire Trucks, working for Allegheny Fire Equipment and All American Fire Equipment. He won the E-One Salesman of the Year Award in 1997 and 1999 for Ohio, and was a member of the Million Dollar Club in 1998. He was a veteran of the Army Reserve with six years of service before being honorably discharged. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Cline and Virgie Blankenship and J.B. and Bernice Turner. He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Renee and Paul Law of Huntington; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Randy and Tammy Blankenship of Salt Rock, W.Va., and Jamie and Jeanette Blankenship of Kenova, W.Va.; three grandchildren, Meghan, Jacob and Sydney Law; two nieces, April Blankenship and Tracy Arthur; four aunts, Mary Cussick, Peggy Turman, Jennifer Tanner and Sue Russell; and a "special mother" Dorothy Watson. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
