Charleston - Horace D. Ficklin, 71 years old, of Charleston died Monday at a hospital in Cairo, Ill. He was born at Clifton Hill, Mo., on July 7, 1895 and belonged to the First Methodist Church here.
Suviving are his wife, Mrs. Augusta Ficklin; three daughters, Mrs. J. Barton Boyle, Mrs. W. T. Murry and Mrs. A. A. Cervantes, III; a brother, G. W. Ficklin; a sister, Mrs. Bob Stobie and eight grandchildren.
Funeral rites will be conducted at the Methodist Church Wednesday. Burial is to be at IOOF Cemetery.
