Dolores Martinez Ozeta, 84, a Lordsburg resident, died Friday at Gila Regional Medical Center in Silver City. Visitation will start Sunday evening at 5 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Lordsburg and the prayer vigil will be held there at 7. Mass of the resurrection will be celebrated Monday morning at 10 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with the Rev. Sam Garcia officiating. Interment will follow at Shakespeare Cemetery in Lordsburg. She was born Dec. 7, 1909, in Folsom and was a homemaker. Mrs. Ozeta was a Lordsburg resident for 70 years and a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband, Cornelio, of the home; three sons, Valentine Silvas of El Paso, Texas, Cornelio Ozeta Jr. of Hilo, Hawaii, and Frank Ozeta of Safford, Ariz.; five daughters, Barbara Guerrero and Berna Arambula, both of Lordsburg, Juanita Sandoval of Albuquerque, Josie Chavez of Alamogordo, and Cressi De La Garza of Baltimore; two sisters, Helen Youngheim and Patricia Duran Carnahan, both of Albuquerque; 31 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three grandchildren, Adam Guerrero, Chris Arambula and Valerie Silvas; two sisters, Lila Diaz and Librada Madrid; and four brothers, Joe, E.F., Longino and Cassie Martinez. Pallbearers will be Steven and Rudy Arambula, Larry and Joe Guerrero, Valentine Silvas Jr. and Frank Ozeta Jr. Entrusted to the care of Baca's Funeral Chapels of Deming.Date of Burial Feb 7th 1994
