Friends in Ripley have learned of the death of Mary Elizabeth "Lizzie" Breeden, 89, of West Union, Ohio, who died March 23. She was born in Jackson County, daughter of the late Peter and Lelia Casto Hatcher.
Survivors include seven children, 20 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and tree great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Noah E. Breeden.
Services were held March 25 in Ellis Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Wesley officiating. Burial was in East Liberty Cemetery.
