A former Wellington woman, Evelyn Conner Hartford Oldham of Oklahoma City died in a hospital there Tuesday, August 3 after an extended illness. She was the wife of Paul Oldham.
From the organization of Wellington Ex-Students Association, Mrs. Oldham was an enthusiastic supporter and attended most of the annual reunions.
She was the daughter of Mrs. Edith Conner Cocke and step-daughter of Henry Cocke. She came here in 1923. Evelyn's father was Andrew Major Davis, born in Texas.
After graduating from Wellington High School in 1929, she attended Gulf Port College in Gulfport, MS.
She was married to Dr. Walter Hartford and they lived in Oklahoma City, where she had special interest in the Auxiliary of the Medical Societies and of the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation. Dr. Hartford died in 1973.
She was married to Paul Oldham in 1979.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two children Kathleen Hartford Smith (Mrs. Gary) of Phoenix, AZ and John Charles Hartford of Decatur, CA, and three grandchildren.
